Cristina Galloway serves as Chief Operating Officer at Every Mother’s Advocate (ĒMA), leading organizational operations and program implementation with a focus on excellence, efficiency, and impact. She brings over a decade of experience in systems engineering, project management, and process design to her work, ensuring that ĒMA’s mission is executed through strategic infrastructure and people-centered systems.
Before joining ĒMA, Cristina played a pivotal role at UF Health Shands Hospital, where she streamlined discharge processes in the Labor and Delivery unit. By aligning coordination between adult and pediatric teams, she helped create smoother, faster, and more compassionate transitions home for mothers and their newborns, a standout example of her commitment to improving care through system design.
Cristina was drawn to ĒMA after becoming a mother herself. “Parenting is hard, even with support. After our son was born, my husband and I realized how vital it is to ensure that no parent navigates that journey alone.”
When she’s not leading operational strategy or refining evaluation frameworks, you’ll find Cristina sipping a shaken espresso with cinnamon, reading a good book by the beach, or enjoying quiet walks that help her recharge. Although she’s outgoing, many are surprised to learn she’s a true introvert—someone who thrives on solitude and finds power in reflection.
Three words to describe Cristina? Strategic. Relational. Inquisitive.
